Only Fools and Horses - The Famous Chandelier Sketch! The   famous   ‘Chandelier   Sketch’   appeared   in   the   classic   Only   Fools   and   Horses   1982 episode   ‘A   Touch   of   Glass’.   It   was   filmed   6   miles   to   the   south   of   Gold   Hill,   inside Clayesmore    School    at    Irwine    Minster.    The    start    of    the    episode    also    features    the Village Hall at Sutton Waldron, just 5 miles away. The   episode   tells   the   story   of   how   Del   Boy,   Rodney   and   Grandad   convince   a   weatlhy couple   that   they   are   experts   in   chandelier   restoration!   The   disaster   that   unfolds leads   to   a   quick   and   hasty   exit   for   the   doomed   trio   as   they   speed   off   in   their   yellow 1967 Reliant Regal Supervan III! The   sketch   is   arguably   one   of   the   most   well-known   and   loved   in   British   comedy   TV, and   is   up   there   with   The   Two   Ronnie’s   ‘Four   Candles’   sketch   as   being   one   of   the funniest in TV history.
